I had the pleasure of staying at a Mt Vernon Flats apartment recently and would definitely return if I had the opportunity! The owners are amazing and very easy to work with. Any issues or questions I had were always resolved very quickly. The apartment itself was furnished beautifully. The bed/mattress was unbelievably comfortable and everything was just perfect during my stay. Pretty quiet overall as well. I felt safe in the Mt. Vernon area and there was always a new restaurant or an event nearby during my free time. I'd definitely recommend Mt Vernon Flats as your next home! You will not regret it!!

I was shown around the beautiful place, just as described and pictured. The location seems safe to me. When I had some issues with the internet connection and shower pressure, the landlord fixed it promptly while I was busy at a conference. I would highly recommend the place to anyone, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you!
The condo's location and parking spot makes this listing an A in my book, but what makes it an A+ is the owner's attention to his guests' comfort -- fully functioning kitchen, tissue boxes, soft and absorbent towels, wifi, comfortable bed, wood and plastic (not wire from the dry cleaners!) hangers, a washer & dryer in the unit... He also touches base to make sure everything is okay.
The apartment was perfect for my business trip to Baltimore. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, and found the apartment to be exactly as described in the listing. We were able to find everything we needed in the apartment, and were within walking distance of restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. The landlord is an experienced and attentive host, who took time to personally meet with me and chat over coffee. My husband and I strongly recommend the management and their apartment.
You can find a few gems in this neighborhood, but the superior management at Mt. Vernon Flats makes it stand out above the rest. I only moved because I had to relocate from Baltimore; otherwise I would have very much looked forward to staying in this building for a long time.
It has been a wonderful experience renting from Mt. Vernon Flats. Landlord is quick to service any repairs that arise and is more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure the satisfaction of the tenant(s). Excellent location, great quality of living!
The owners have been remarkably good property managers, and are honestly reason enough to move here. They are attentive, and exceptionally responsive to their tenants. The spaces themselves are in an historic building, and have charming details and great floor-plans. We were lucky enough to have an outdoor space attached to our unit. Even though I moved into a 1 bedroom with my girlfriend, there was still a ton of space for the two of us. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and quiet (even with the proximity to Howard St, and the hospital). If you are new to the city, or looking to relocate, consider moving here. It was well worth it for me.
We have had a wonderful experience renting from Mt. Vernon Flats. We moved to Baltimore from across the country, and signed a lease without seeing our apartment first, which was stressful (to say the least), but I am so glad we took a chance. Definitely the best landlords we have ever had: They are extremely responsive and quick to address any issues, easy to work with, and kind people who truly care about their tenants being safe, comfortable, and happy in their apartments. They even took the time to add amenities to our apartment before we moved in (eg dishwasher, garbage disposal, refinished the floors, etc.). Our apartment itself has a lot of beautiful historic character: wood floors, two fireplaces (both sealed, one marble), and a clawfoot tub. The location is great: Mt. Vernon is a gorgeous, historic, and safe neighborhood, and has lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. We've loved living here and have found Mt. Vernon flats to be extremely easy to work with. I can't recommend them enough, especially if you are new to Baltimore.
I've been renting here for over a year. Very responsive landlords, easy to work with, very good service for tenants. Definitely recommend living here. Mount Vernon is quiet and beautiful, and in walking distance of downtown, as well as lots of bars, restaurants, and stores.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the Mount Vernon Flats' historic buildings on Park Ave for 3 months this fall and we absolutely loved our time there. The location was fabulous, right across was the Mount Vernon Marketplace and Ceremony Coffee which we frequented often. Many museums and cultural institutions are in close walking distance, which we took full advantage of as well as Charles Street with great shops and restaurants. The Washington Monument is also very close by with 4 parks surrounding the monument- our dog loved this plentiful outdoor space, as did we. They proved to be a really nice aspect of the neighborhood not just for well-kept green space but also hosted concerts with Peabody Conservatory students and outdoor movie screenings. We really enjoyed all aspects of the 513 Park Avenue living experience. Our apartment was fully furnished and appointed for our 3 month stay and the complimentary parking space in the back was a true gem. The neighbors were all friendly and very respectful. The landlords and all of the staff were wonderful. They were so accommodating and responsive; anything we ever needed they handled quickly and took care of for us. I highly recommend working with the team at Mount Vernon Flats, I know we absolutely will again if we return to Baltimore!
The Mt Vernon flat was super for our short Baltimore stay. It fit the description perfectly, in fact it was better in reality than in the pictures. It was clean, quiet and just what we needed. The hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. They have put together a little guide for the flat and the surrounding area which was highly appreciated!
Very conscientious host, and the apartment space was just what I needed for a week-long stay in Baltimore. The neighborhood is a short walk from Baltimore Penn Station, and includes all the neighborhood amenities (e.g., groceries, bars, restaurants) you need for a convenient visit whether or not you have a car.
The hosts were friendly, kind and accommodating and genuinely concerned that our stay was a good one. Their attentiveness and the wonderful apartment made our short time in Baltimore a pleasant one. The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Mount Vernon and very near many of the cities attractions including the Walter Art Museum, the Baltimore Basilica and a ton of cafes, shops and bars alongside Charles Street. Within just two blocks of the apartment in every direction are several choices for food, coffee and cocktails. The apartment it self was very spacious and comfortable and offered all we needed for a cozy stay. It's a mix of mostly modern furnishing surrounded by old school architectural details like crown molding, fireplaces, and wood floors plus a lovely, renovated kitchen. Should my travels bring me back to Baltimore sometime soon I'll definitely try to stay again.
Great location with easy access to the best of Baltimore without the need for a car. Highly recommended!
The owner holds true to his high ranking! My boyfriend and I stayed here while in town for the Army vs Navy game and it was an excellent location to walk to get food and see some of the sites in Mt. Vernon. It was also very easy to get to the stadium for the game! A cheap Uber ride and well worth it than staying in one of the overpriced hotels in that area. He was very responsive and answered me right away. It was a perfect condo and it was a nice perk to have a parking spot since I drove!! All in all it was a great experience and I need to come back again to explore more!
This condo was just outstanding. With family in the neighborhood, it worked out great for us. From the always quick replies from the host to the condo being exactly as pictured and explained, our time there couldn't have been better. This is one that will be first on our list every time we come back to Baltimore. I can see why it is always rented. Get it early, you won't be disappointed.
