I had the pleasure of staying at a Mt Vernon Flats apartment recently and would definitely return if I had the opportunity! The owners are amazing and very easy to work with. Any issues or questions I had were always resolved very quickly. The apartment itself was furnished beautifully. The bed/mattress was unbelievably comfortable and everything was just perfect during my stay. Pretty quiet overall as well. I felt safe in the Mt. Vernon area and there was always a new restaurant or an event nearby during my free time. I'd definitely recommend Mt Vernon Flats as your next home! You will not regret it!!

My family and I loved our time spent in Baltimore, and the apartment was exactly what we wanted: bright, spacious, and centrally located. The apartment was very clean, and the host was friendly and very easy to get in contact with. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants in the area, and enjoy the historic location. The parking space (around the back) was a tight fit, but it was great to not stress over parking. We would love to come back, and would defiantly stay here again!

This was the first time staying in the heart of the city both for my son (reigning chess master!!) and myself and I couldn't have asked for a better host, accommodations and location! The host is a cool (excellent and very responsive and yes cool) host!! The apartment is fantastic!!!...a glimpse of past glory through a modern deco lens. The location is perfect and parking was a HUGE bonus!!!! Thanks from both of us for a wonderful, unbelievable stay!!!!!! Looking forward to future stays with you!!!

What exceptional hosts! They were very accommodating and met me immediately after I flew into Baltimore and checked in to make sure everything was in order throughout my stay. The apartment is perfectly located in Mount Vernon with great access to the city! I would definitely recommend this apartment along with the hosts without reservation!

I stayed in the cozy condo for a little over a week for my daughter's wedding, the location could not have been better. I was able to walk to so many interesting places to eat and see. The condo met all of my needs. I would highly recommend this condo for your stay in Baltimore.

Darrell and Ellen

Very welcoming host. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Great neighborhood with lots to do. We stayed for 3 months with no issues.

Brendan

This was a great place. The location here is perfect. The apartment was very nice. Roman was super easy to work with. Having parking was a plus. But it wasnt too difficult to find street parking either. I would definitely stay here again.

Stephanie

Wonderful choice! Definitely among my preferred locations for staying long term in Baltimore! The owner met me on arrivals and helped me get my bags upstairs and I later enjoyed a great conversation over dinner. Clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Was perfect for a long term stay while I was between moves.

Ron

The landlord was a very attentive and accommodating host. Communications were seamless and quick. The accommodations were true to the pictures shown and the location is fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Baltimore.

Wonderful return trip to the place! Clean, comfie, & convenient! The owner is a fantastic host - he met me as soon as I got into town to give me the key, as expected. But, he also helped me carry in my luggage and even drove me back over to my brother's place! Have to say LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new linens / duvet and the Turkish coffee he left!

Conrad

Quiet, central location and nice to have a parking space.

Michael

The owner met me and was friendly and helpful as he gave me the keys. I was very jetlagged having arrived from a trip to Japan and it was great to be met by someone so friendly, even though it was late. I was cooking for myself, so I was glad to find that many of the kitchen utensils were from IKEA—good quality and familiar stuff—which made my stay all the more homey and comfortable. The television with Netflix and AppleTV was a godsend, as I was working in the apartment for much of my time in Baltimore. It was great to binge on American Horror Story on my own Netflix account! The bed was extremely comfortable, the hot water temperature and pressure in the shower were splendid. I brought a table and chair down from upstairs so I could do some work; the apartment isn't ideal for that, but I was comfortable enough. Perhaps most guests spend more time out of the apartment than I did this time. All in all, though I was comfortable, warm, and happy during my time here. The owner kept in touch by text from time to time to make sure I was well, and that was very nice too. I know that if I'd needed anything he'd've done his best to look after me about it.

I was in town for the Geological Society of America 2015 meeting, and this place worked great to get me into conference mode. The location was great - even though there is public transportation easily available, I walked the 15 minutes to the convention center to be able to take in the city. I thought the neighborhood was safe an well-lit. The condo was clean, comfortable, and, indeed, cozy. I am trying to think of what it was missing, but honestly, for my purposes it had everything I needed. Despite the traffic outside, it was quiet and peaceful inside the place, so I could concentrate on getting work done. There are TV's both in the living room and in the upstairs bedroom, but between the conference and exploring Baltimore, those didn't see much use. The owner was very laid back, friendly, and interesting to talk to. He was also very quick to answer any questions that we had. He was very helpful with suggestions for food, entertainment, etc in Baltimore. We arrived earlier than our check in time, but were still able to drop off our bags and go explore, which was awesome. Overall, staying at this place was an awesome experience, and if you are on the fence between Airbnb and a hotel, I suggest you go with Airbnb because it gives you a non-tourist real life experience of the city.

The host of hosts! Coming to Baltimore for major cancer surgery (with sons to help, rotating), I felt I had landed in the embrace of extended family. The owner's cheery, mod condo was perfect for recuperation, from the deeply comfy Queen bed (already checked the mfr. with him to get one for home) to the easy operating shades and all needed amenities. Had no problem navigating the wide, carpeted stairs with landing and sturdy banisters. Everything works in the well-equipped easy-clean, compact kitchenette with ready snacks and condiments. The pull-out LR couch is decorative and entirely adequate for one or two. He even loaned us an extra folding pillow sleeping surface for the few days all three , of us were together. He’s seemingly available at all times (lives nearby) - responds zippy quick - but unobtrusive when you don’t need help . He tolerated our constantly changing schedule with great kindness (hard to plan around surgery!). The two TVS allowed for variable viewing tastes (the huge Apple TV downstairs was a blast) and my son enjoyed biking when I was sleeping - so many nice, safe areas nearby to explore. Off-street parking, basement washer dryer and storage as needed. Nice and quiet too. Saved us a ton of money! When I got the all-clear cancer-wise on our last day, he hugged me with shared joy. Highly, highly recommended! PS You might want to bring your own no-skid tub mat and/or portable grab bar if you’re unsteady on your feet. Especially noted for other medical visitors.

Visiting some friends in the area, and found this Airbnb near their apartment. It was nice to have my own space in this very fun neighborhood. This apartment is located in the heart of the historical Mt. Vernon district, which is a great location for Baltimore. It's not too far from downtown, and is very close to several different sites, like the Walters Gallery, the Washington Monument, Peabody Hall, and some great food and nightlife on Charles St. This listing came with a parking spot, which was a nice bonus, even though non-metered street parking isn't too difficult to find in this part of town. I didn't have the need for it, but the train station is only a few blocks away, and there's a free Charm City Circulator shuttle bus to take you around Baltimore should you need it. UberX rides are pretty cheap too if you need to leave the neighborhood. Even though you're close to the action, the apartment is surprisingly quiet and cozy and well lit because it's located in the back of the building away from the hustle and bustle of the street. The apartment was very clean, and the pictures and description are very accurate. The TV was a Smart TV that came with Netflix, Hulu, etc. The wifi internet worked really well and seemed fast. I didn't need to cook, but the kitchen has all your basic needs to feel comfortable preparing simple home cooked meals if you were hoping to do so. The landlord was extremely friendly and very helpful. He mentioned he used to live in the neighborhood for over a decade, so had some really nice food and entertainment tips that even my friends I was visiting didn't even know about. This is a great find at a great price and I'd highly recommend anyone coming to visit or work in Baltimore that prefers a local and historical feeling instead of the sterile new hotel feeling.

Scott

Mt Vernon Flats were friendly, quick to respond, and helpful during our stay. The place was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We ate at 13th Floor which was only a short walk away. Overall it was a perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway.

Scott

It was great to meet the owner and his wife after arriving at the AirBnB, and the place was a great home-away-from-home while on a two-week contract. Cozy bed, fully-stocked kitchen, proximity to a fun neighborhood and the Washington Monument - I couldn't ask for more!

Andrew

Perfect 10!! (Especially for Peabody visitors!) For my first AirBnB stay, I couldn't have asked for a better experience than this. The host was spot on with the description, and there was never a moment I didn't feel right at home. In town for a workshop at Peabody - literally half a block away - the quiet condo was exactly what I needed to focus and relax. When I arrived, everything was clean - including sheets on the bed and linen closest filled to the max - and the full kitchen with all the usual appliances made life so much easier then at a hotel. PLUS, the iron and ironing board were both clean and in perfect working order (I travel a lot for work, so it's really important that to have a crisp, wrinkle-free shirt). Plenty of great restaurants and attractions within walking distance, as well as a couple of Walgreens, in case you forgot something. No question I'll be reaching out to Mt Vernon Flats next time I'm in town!!

Jeremy

Lovely apartment. Great and convenient neighborhood. Recommended for all.

Liza

I was shown around the beautiful place, just as described and pictured. The location seems safe to me. When I had some issues with the internet connection and shower pressure, the landlord fixed it promptly while I was busy at a conference. I would highly recommend the place to anyone, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Margaret

The landlord is the BEST! He's extremely responsive and considerate. He made us feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Coming from California, we weren't familiar with the neighborhood, so he told us where to go, giving us maps and restaurant recommendations, etc. Any issues that came up, he was on it immediately...even on a Saturday night! As far as the apartment goes, it's clean and just enough space for 2-3 people. The neighborhood is safe and a quick walk to Charles St, which is filled with lots of food options and historical sites. It's also a quick 15-20 min walk to the Inner Harbor. The parking spot is easy access if you have a car; it's also easy to get to the highway if you feel like a trip to DC. If you need a Whole Foods, it's a $5 Lyft ride away. I'd recommend management and this apartment any day!

Molly

We had a great stay! The landlord met up with us when we arrived to welcome us and show us around the space. We lived in Mount Vernon previously, and he helpfully told us about and recommended restaurants and other sights in the neighborhood that had changed since we'd left. The space itself was perfect for my husband and I and our toddler. Though you wouldn't need a car in Mount Vernon since so much is walkable/circulatorable (great location!), it was super nice to have easy parking available too. Leading up to the stay and throughout, communication was very easy. We'd definitely stay here again!

Hana

This was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. The condo was within walking distance of a bunch of great places to eat. Even though traffic and our flight situation were hectic, the landlord accommodated our arrival and departure and made sure we had a face-to-face check-in. We had everything we needed for the stay!

Heidi

Comfortable, easy, very clean, and amazing location. This was my first time using Airbnb also my first time in Baltimore and the landlord was great! I was visiting for work and could not find a hotel room for a reasonable price. The condo is spacious and well furnished. You can walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, and museums in about 10 minutes or less! The area is quite and the duplex is in a secure building. I could not have asked for a better place to stay for my first time in Baltimore.

Shelby

This was a great place to stay! Very nice area, clean and spacious apartment, and great host. Plus it has a parking spot which is a huge plus for this neighborhood! I would definitely stay here again!

Tara

The landlords were great hosts for a lovely space. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of! The kitchen has almost anything you could ever need, including lots of dry goods. I would absolutely stay here again.

Milton

The landlord phoned us as our planned arrival time approached and gave clear parking & unloading instructions. He then met us in the apartment vestibule for a brief walk through and overview. The space was just as seen in the online photos and proved to be comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped, the "roku" tv worked fine, and bathroom shower was good. Overall we had a very pleasant 5 days in Charm City and hope to pay Baltimore a return visit. -Milton

Gabrielle

The host was great and the place was perfect! Amazing location, safe and the parking spot was a huge plus!!

Bianca

The apartment was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway in Baltimore.

Ron

This is a great space in a great part of town. The space was the perfect size for us, quiet and well maintained. It is walking distance to a ton of cool restaurants, and a short Uber ride to everywhere else. The host was tremendous (he was even kind enough to pick me up from Baltimore's Amtrak station) and provided helpful suggestions for places to try / things to do. The owner is definitely on our short list of places to stay whenever we visit Baltimore.

Lauren

Everything about my stay was great. The apartment was very clean, quiet, and taken care of. The landlord was very helpful in showing me around, and checked in via text once to make sure everything was going well. The area is good, safe, lots of really good restaurants. Walking to the harbor is 10-15 minutes through a safe area (there's also a free bus). I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it for anyone coming to the area.

Jessica

The condo's location and parking spot makes this listing an A in my book, but what makes it an A+ is the owner's attention to his guests' comfort -- fully functioning kitchen, tissue boxes, soft and absorbent towels, wifi, comfortable bed, wood and plastic (not wire from the dry cleaners!) hangers, a washer & dryer in the unit... He also touches base to make sure everything is okay.

Lu

The apartment was perfect for my business trip to Baltimore. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, and found the apartment to be exactly as described in the listing. We were able to find everything we needed in the apartment, and were within walking distance of restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. The landlord is an experienced and attentive host, who took time to personally meet with me and chat over coffee. My husband and I strongly recommend the management and their apartment.

Jade

You can find a few gems in this neighborhood, but the superior management at Mt. Vernon Flats makes it stand out above the rest. I only moved because I had to relocate from Baltimore; otherwise I would have very much looked forward to staying in this building for a long time.

Justin

It has been a wonderful experience renting from Mt. Vernon Flats. Landlord is quick to service any repairs that arise and is more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure the satisfaction of the tenant(s).  Excellent location, great quality of living!

Dan

The owners have been remarkably good property managers, and are honestly reason enough to move here. They are attentive, and exceptionally responsive to their tenants. The spaces themselves are in an historic building, and have charming details and great floor-plans. We were lucky enough to have an outdoor space attached to our unit. Even though I moved into a 1 bedroom with my girlfriend, there was still a ton of space for the two of us. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and quiet (even with the proximity to Howard St, and the hospital). If you are new to the city, or looking to relocate, consider moving here. It was well worth it for me.

Sonia

We have had a wonderful experience renting from Mt. Vernon Flats. We moved to Baltimore from across the country, and signed a lease without seeing our apartment first, which was stressful (to say the least), but I am so glad we took a chance. Definitely the best landlords we have ever had: They are extremely responsive and quick to address any issues, easy to work with, and kind people who truly care about their tenants being safe, comfortable, and happy in their apartments. They even took the time to add amenities to our apartment before we moved in (eg dishwasher, garbage disposal, refinished the floors, etc.). Our apartment itself has a lot of beautiful historic character: wood floors, two fireplaces (both sealed, one marble), and a clawfoot tub. The location is great: Mt. Vernon is a gorgeous, historic, and safe neighborhood, and has lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. We've loved living here and have found Mt. Vernon flats to be extremely easy to work with. I can't recommend them enough, especially if you are new to Baltimore.

Steph

I've been renting here for over a year.  Very responsive landlords, easy to work with, very good service for tenants.  Definitely recommend living here.  Mount Vernon is quiet and beautiful, and in walking distance of downtown, as well as lots of bars, restaurants, and stores.

Savery

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the Mount Vernon Flats' historic buildings on Park Ave for 3 months this fall and we absolutely loved our time there. The location was fabulous, right across was the Mount Vernon Marketplace and Ceremony Coffee which we frequented often. Many museums and cultural institutions are in close walking distance, which we took full advantage of as well as Charles Street with great shops and restaurants. The Washington Monument is also very close by with 4 parks surrounding the monument- our dog loved this plentiful outdoor space, as did we. They proved to be a really nice aspect of the neighborhood not just for well-kept green space but also hosted concerts with Peabody Conservatory students and outdoor movie screenings. We really enjoyed all aspects of the 513 Park Avenue living experience. Our apartment was fully furnished and appointed for our 3 month stay and the complimentary parking space in the back was a true gem. The neighbors were all friendly and very respectful. The landlords and all of the staff were wonderful. They were so accommodating and responsive; anything we ever needed they handled quickly and took care of for us. I highly recommend working with the team at Mount Vernon Flats, I know we absolutely will again if we return to Baltimore!

Katarina

The Mt Vernon flat was super for our short Baltimore stay. It fit the description perfectly, in fact it was better in reality than in the pictures. It was clean, quiet and just what we needed. The hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. They have put together a little guide for the flat and the surrounding area which was highly appreciated!

Brendan

Very conscientious host, and the apartment space was just what I needed for a week-long stay in Baltimore. The neighborhood is a short walk from Baltimore Penn Station, and includes all the neighborhood amenities (e.g., groceries, bars, restaurants) you need for a convenient visit whether or not you have a car.

Kareem

The hosts were friendly, kind and accommodating and genuinely concerned that our stay was a good one. Their attentiveness and the wonderful apartment made our short time in Baltimore a pleasant one. The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Mount Vernon and very near many of the cities attractions including the Walter Art Museum, the Baltimore Basilica and a ton of cafes, shops and bars alongside Charles Street. Within just two blocks of the apartment in every direction are several choices for food, coffee and cocktails. The apartment it self was very spacious and comfortable and offered all we needed for a cozy stay. It's a mix of mostly modern furnishing surrounded by old school architectural details like crown molding, fireplaces, and wood floors plus a lovely, renovated kitchen. Should my travels bring me back to Baltimore sometime soon I'll definitely try to stay again.

Christopher

Great location with easy access to the best of Baltimore without the need for a car. Highly recommended!

Morgan

The owner holds true to his high ranking! My boyfriend and I stayed here while in town for the Army vs Navy game and it was an excellent location to walk to get food and see some of the sites in Mt. Vernon. It was also very easy to get to the stadium for the game! A cheap Uber ride and well worth it than staying in one of the overpriced hotels in that area. He was very responsive and answered me right away. It was a perfect condo and it was a nice perk to have a parking spot since I drove!! All in all it was a great experience and I need to come back again to explore more!

Ken

This condo was just outstanding. With family in the neighborhood, it worked out great for us. From the always quick replies from the host to the condo being exactly as pictured and explained, our time there couldn't have been better. This is one that will be first on our list every time we come back to Baltimore. I can see why it is always rented. Get it early, you won't be disappointed.
